Not sure but the lobster rolls are not that good. Been a few time. Each was worst than the last
I do not know what they are the best place to eat around town. You get your money's worth with them
Open during the warmer season 7 days a week

No
I would think so. Just call in advance to confirm.
They do
Great seafood and views of the ocean. Parking is pretty tight and the wait csn be long, but the food is well worth it. Service is nice too and the gift shop is a nice place to browse while you wait for your table.
The service was nice but the food is way way too overpriced for the quality. Haddock was so saulty that it was unbearable to eat and not as fresh as one would have hoped for. It would have been 4.5 stars at half the price.
Awsome best seafood on the coast. Superb mgr. And staff. We will be back next week.
Exceptional service. Haddock is spot on, amazing scallops and have the Stoneface IPA a local brew. LOBSTAH quesadillas? Wicked good!
I wanted to love it because the the location and other reviews. But our experience was disappointing, slow service, small portions, exorbitantly expensive, poor descriptions, paper plates, no knives, iceberg lettuce salad with a couple slices of onion and tomato. I was showing some foreign visitors what good seafood is like in New England and it was a bad experience. The baked seafood plate in the picture was tasty, but very small for $30. We won’t be back. I suggest to go else where.
Great view! Great food! Great beer! Great service!
The wait was very long. There was no where to eat take out. I had the lobster bisque and it was more like stew. It's often rated as exceptional but I found it to be average. We ordered ice cream and it was served a good 20 minutes before our food so it was melted.
Average seafood spot. Serves same as most all others on the roadway. Waitstaff was friendly. Food was good. A bit pricey for what you get,but good .
Best friend seafood at the beach. They're still working to figure out the social distancing thing, so are stretched pretty thin. But everyone was more than pleasant, trying hard, and the food...as always...was delicious 😊
Best seafood and prices. So fresh and it's on the ocean. Try to book upstairs though for the view.
Food wasn't bad, could've been better. Location was beautiful with the ocean right across the street.
Good food and prices. Covid-19 practicing being done here.
Visit the market weekly for fresh fish, clams. Tried their salmon cakes, cooked on grill for friends and they all loved them! Occasionally they get in bluefin tuna, which isnt easy to find atound here, and its of top quality.
Stopping here is the hallmark of my summer and a great place to spoil yourself. Huge portions of steamers are the norm and every item on the menu is a home run. Eating on the balcony is great on sunny days but it can get quite breezy out there. Really good cocktails from the bar complete the dining experience. And the staff is always happy to be there and very attentive
When you live in New England, the seafood is usually fresh...and at Ray's your meal tastes like you just pulled it into the boat! Very good, nothing fancy, good portions, friendly staff.
Great meal great service. Outdoor seating under umbrellas. the best baked haddock I’ve ever had!Decomposable containers for serving( not styrofoam-a-big plus in my book!), throw away menus double as placemats. Spacing done well and the new dining area at rear of lot well put together with new tables and crushed shell groundcover. There’s also seating on an upper deck at building. Next to a tributary, there were some flies & midges, so be prepared with bug repellent if that bothers you.
Food always tastes great !
Great Food! Great View! Great Staff! Great Price! Will definitely make the drive to go back.
Tried some local lobster pie and stuffed lobster. The lobster pie was lobster in a sherry sauce and served like a chicken pot pie. It was good and very rich Though even I would have liked it a little hotter. The lobster picture is for my Red Sox loving family members.
This is by far my favorite place to get seafood. The staff is always friendly, the atmosphere is homey. The seafood chowder is amazing, the prices are fair for the amount of food you get. There's plenty of parking and the ocean view is perfect.
Great seafood, service and price!
My family and I went by today and the food was delicious and our waiter was very nice
Awesome place with a great view! The lobster roll was totally worth it
I love their food!!!!!! Lobster and lobster rolls are the best! Fish and chips are also really good. :)
Excellent seafood spot with great views.... awesome staff... Outdoor seating
Excellent fresh seafood they catch their own lobsters reasonably priced right out of the Gulf of Maine
The service was great, the lobster roll was amazing. They need to work to improve their burgers. I would return for more seafood 🍤
What an amazing setting for an indulgent seafood meal! We absolutely loved the haddock, I am not kidding the lobster roll might’ve been the best we’ve ever had. Kids meals were gobbled up too. The outdoor seating is cool in the parking lot. I don’t know if it’s usually like that are special for COVID times. The servers had to run in and out of the building constantly, and they must’ve been exhausted. But it was still great service despite that. They’re taking COVID 19 precautions seriously, wiping down the tables, using single use menus, take out boxes, etc. and of course wearing masks. (Not all the customers were wearing masks though).👍👍 Looking forward you the next time I can eat at Ray’s!
Good price on great lobster, beach vibe.
Very good food and service Really liked the clam chowder
Fried foods were kind of soggy, I prefer a nice crunch. Onion rings falling apart everywhere. Cole slaw was very good. Didn't put forks after repeatedly asking them for some. Had to go back and get some. Was alright but ill stick to my normal place. Not worth the hour drive.
Was just ok .have been many times as a child with my parents .hadn't been in many years. Was very disappointed in the service and food was just ok .wasnt busy but took way to long to get drinks snd food .waited 45 min for a salad and then another 25 min for dinner to come .wiwh I could offer some thing postive but I can't. It saddens me to give a poor review but I'd rather be honest and open then to offer a false review .sorry . Perhaps I'll give them another try as i do have so many fond memories of long ago . Stay tuned !!
We ate outside on the upstairs deck. Great food and service. Not super packed and no wait. Get the lobster artichoke dip. We'll be back a lot this summer
Great lobster fast service and a nice staff.
Nice seafood shake with a upper level patio providing cool breezes and a view of the ocean. Excellent service and menu selection however the prices are on the higher end. This is lobster heaven for lobster lovers! Great place for a casual outing with friends or family.
Amazing food. One of the top 5 clam chowders in New England! The service was outstanding and the views were not bad either.
Ray's Seafood is a wonderful restaurant on Route 1a in Rye, NH.My husband and I love to visit Rye to stare at the ocean and have a seafood lunch. Ray's has a large variety of seafood cooked any way you'd like. I tried the seafood chowder. It was chunky and delicious! My husband had fried haddock and loved it. The staff was friendly and very COVID-aware. We ate inside, but the windows were open, people were distanced, and servers were wearing masks. We really enjoyed Ray's, and look forward to going back.
One of the worst restaurant experiences ever. Food took close to 2 hours. It was cold and poor quality previously frozen fish. The management should be ashamed, they are leaving inexperienced waitresses to manage a poor situation and a kitchen that is not doing it’s job. This place is a straight up tourist trap. They don’t care because every year they get a whole new group of tourists that don’t know better.
The freshest seafood I've ever had. Apparently they catch their own lobster that they cook for you. My favorite was the scallops. They were delicious
Beautiful outdoor seating on the marsh side of street. Off street parking. Food is pretty good. The sangria was just ok to me.
Ray's is now offering outside dining on their dirty, dark and dingy upper deck with heaters on the walls that aren't in working operation!! 😆 Won't be going back. We tried the fried scallops and fried clams that were given to us dripping, I mean, drenched in oil. Just awful. There are So many places in the area that are good for fried seafood. Made a grave error of wasting money on Ray"s. Based on other reviews, thought we'd give them a try- big mistake. There weren't even any paper towels in the bathroom- during covid19!! Do not waste your money on greasy oily seafood, when elsewhere it can be such a treat!
Amazing food. covid19 can't stop ray's food from being so good.👍
The lobster was fresh and perfectly cooked! The service could have been better; seemed like the waiter was having an off day but the food was worth going back for.
Great food selection. Decent prices and amazing servers
Just the right reentry into dining out. Staff was friendly and although pricey the food was well worth it as were the margaritas.
First time there good seafood. Waitress was very nice. Did a great job. My wife had the same name as here and everytime somebody at the table said her name the young girl thought we were talking to her 🙂
Pretty clean, good food. Staff was attentive even during the pandemic. Seafood was kinda pricey but was fresh and tasty. Will go again. Will recommend to friends
One of my favorite places at the beach. Great food and the original Pain Killer cocktail.ots of decks and waterside tables to dine on. A sunset view that almost matches the food. Fried oysters and sweet potato fries are my choice.
Excellent perfectly cooked fried scallops and clamsA perfect first meal out since the stay home rule started. A must
Had good food, fast service & polite staff. 4/5
